When it comes to weight loss, stepping on the scale is the easiest way to track your progress, but it’s not always the most effective. Taking body measurements throughout your journey will help you track your progress in a way that allows you to see how your body composition is changing and where you are losing fat and gaining muscle. Always make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor.
Take your measurements at the exact same time and under the same circumstances so you can trust the results. We recommend doing so first thing in the morning, after you’ve used the toilet, before eating or drinking anything.
